Hello again, my friends,
Today was a travel day. We got up first thing in the morning in Paris, got a taxi to the train station, and got on a train (with some stopping in between).
We took the Eurostar across the channel into England, where we rented a car and drove to the Cotswolds, to the little cottage we're renting. Once there, we went to the nearby town to pick up some food and everyone else had fish 'n' chips (I, the vegetarian of the family, had a delicious cheese and onion pasty), then we went for a walk and met our neighbors:

This is pretty much the same thing you would get if I tried to do a self-portrait.
Not at all surprising that I brought my camera along, really.  I love the light in these pictures.

Anyway, I don't have very many pictures today. It was just travel.
We're now based in England, and we'll be exploring Warwickshire for the next few days. Sometime, we'll go to Warwick Castle. We're also planning to go to Stratford-Upon-Avon to see A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Royal Shakespeare Company (internal screams of excitement coming from the Shakespeare nerd here).
That's it for today, though,
Alec
