Hey everyone, I just had an awesome day.
It started out badly, as my days often do. By that, of course I mean that I woke up. I am not a morning person.....at all. It got better after that, though. A few of us met up with no plan, as usual, to find something to do. We were just hanging out for a bit, playing with the dog Jack.

I always find it fun to take pictures of animals. Their eyes always seem to be so expressive.
I will say Jack is really fun to take pictures of. The way he was facing me (you can't see the rope toy in his mouth, the other end of which is in my hand) was perfectly placed, with the dark side of his head in the shadow and the light half in the light. It looks really cool, in my opinion.

The next two are a really cool and photographically interesting metal frame around a picture. I had a lot of fun shooting it.
On a side note, the first of the two is now the new wallpaper on my laptop. That seems to change just about every time I get new pictures.

At this point, we decided on something to do. It stopped raining for a bit and we went to a park nearby. I've always wanted to get shots like this of dew on leaves, but I was never able to get good enough pictures before I got this lens. I'm loving this. It opens up so many possibilities.

This one was just because I liked how vibrant her socks were. I thought they were interesting. Also, I don't normally do much with vibrant colors. This is weird for me.

Overall, it was a great day. I didn't get too many shots (only about 170-ish), but I didn't specifically go out shooting. I just brought the camera along with us.
That's all for today. Thank you very much for stopping by,
Alec
